And he shined without having a great QB throwing to him. Notice how half the time it’s Bill Wade and the other half it’s Rudy Bukich. Both adequate, neither great.
Everybody knows Iron Mike as the coach of the Bears. He was probably the first great TE of the modern era, a HOF player. He was a load he had it all speed, great blocker, and great receiver.
